Hello!
Welcome to LUMOS, your automated solution for government R&D and business-funding expense management.
Today, we will take an in-depth look at the Startup Leap Package (Startup Scale-Up Program).
The Startup Leap Package is a government-funded initiative designed to help scale-up phase startups with promising technology-based products innovate their business models and advance their products and services.
Eligible applicants are startups that have been in business for more than three years but less than seven years, currently navigating the scale-up phase. For reference, based on the 2023 guidelines, companies that previously participated in the Early-Stage Startup Package, the Re-チャレンジ (Re-Challenge) Success Package, or the Startup-Focused University program can apply through a "Fast Track" option if they meet the eligibility requirements. In addition to commercialization funding, the program provides tailored support for scaling enterprises, including attracting follow-on investments and expanding into global markets. It also leverages the infrastructure of major corporations to support joint commercialization, investment opportunities, marketing, training, and consulting.
The agreement period is within 10 months from the start date, and approximately 394 companies are selected in total.
